"ladies fair, I bring to you lavender with spikes of blue;
sweeter plant was never found
growing on our English ground."

What is there not to love about Lavender?It can be used in so many ways in it's various forms..
to deter moths
in pot pourris
to aid sleep
cake decorations (how pretty!)
as herbal tea
Culinary, in scones & marshmallows
wedding confetti
It has also has antiseptic & anti inflammatory properties & was used in the first World War to disinfect floors & walls in hospitals.
I think I'm obsessed!I bought some plants & have given them a new home in my garden. I'm looking forward to their sweet smell later in the year & the bees buzzing around their pretty heads.

Images courtesy of weheartit.comUntil my lavender flowers, I will just have to use my own supply to add to some pretty lavender bags.
Also listed in my Etsy shop in both 50 & 100 grammes.
Have a wonderful Tuesday & see you soon xXx
