Velvet sand, pushing through our toes & hitching a ride with us.
Tiring us out, just insisting that we sit & play in it..tut, this sand malarkey is very demanding!
Yet oh so pretty with a flower impressed with tiny hands & a thoughtful mind.
A chilly dip in to the ocean..yes, I braved it up to my waist & then it just seems to get ridiculously cold!
How do they manage not to feel it?
Without a doubt, the beach is my most favourite place in the world.

so so so envious of your weather, whilst I like Autumn this year it's been a wet one.....not helped by a cold from last week and a sore throat from this week lol...roll on 1 September when spring appears....
